Hi and welcome to my international website! My name is Rico Pfaus, but most people call me RYX. I am living in the wonderful city of Berlin in Germany and work as a freelancer for web-/screendesign and multimedia-related programming.

I like coding in any language - from ActionScript, C and C# to Python or PHP. My favorite design-tools are inkscape and gimp (not because I like gimp, but because there is nothing else on *nix-systems), but I am also used to working with most Adobe (and all former Macromedia) products like Photoshop, Flash, Flex, Director & friends.

I am a big fan of Linux - on both, server and desktop - and wiped any MS-crap off my drives a couple of years ago (and never missed it a single second). In my free-time I try to contribute to compiz (a 3d window manager for X11-based systems like Linux) and the compiz-community wherever I can.
